John Cooper, Nigel Graham, Pete Hann, Kate Lawrence, Adrian Vanderplank and Jude Vanderplank. Three mixes of cement today all used by Pete building retaining wall. About 12 loads of mud hauled out as well. Pete practiced dodging large boulder lowered by John in an uncontrolled manner. Really need a boulder net for the ones too big for the bucket! 1 fat frog and 1 small newt rehomed today. 2 hours. John.

John Cooper, Nigel Graham and Pete Hann with Kate Lawrence collecting and supplying suitable building rocks. Jude Vanderplank dropped off 4 bags of sand before returning home to assist Adrian with chainsaw work. Double double mix of cement used building up the lower wall in the South end of the entrance rift to hold back mud. One more session should see the two walls joined up and the top one raised. 1½ hours. John.

John Cooper, Nigel Graham and Pete Hann. Double mix of cement used cementing up a lower wall in the South end of the entrance rift to hold back mud. Another couple of sessions before the lower wall reaches the upper wall done last week. Probably do a double double mix next time. Adrian and Jude chainsaw work whilst Kate Lawrence cooking Christmas lunch for us all. 1½ hours. John.
